KIHO is very happy to announce that we have a very valued new item in our office. Our three former volunteers from Europe have handed over a new item for our office, a HP laserjet which is a combined printer, scanner and photocopy machine. Pauline, Núria and Johannes promised before leaving the country to help KIHO with the donation of a new printer. Today, Núria brought a brand-new laser printer and installed it with KIHO board members in the office.

In the past, we had to rely on an old and very uneconomical ink printer where a new cartridge only lasted for 100 pages! This new laserjet has several advantages. First, will be much quicker to print the pages that we need for our projects and partners. Second, it will be much cheaper for KIHO to print because it is a laserjet and the cartridge can print some 1,700 pages. Third, we have finally a scanner as well as photocopier in our office, because the printer also offers these options as well. In the past, we always had to go to town and pay at least TSH700 ($0.4 or $0.3) for one scan which really added up costs for us. Now, we finally can scan and print for free which we are very grateful for.

Of course, KIHO will continue to think twice before we print any page because we want to be a "green office". And we very much hope that we can be in touch with other individuals or organizations who can help us to enhance our office which so far is still equipped on a very basic level. Thank you for considering your support!
