Concerning our youth, KIHO aims to develop a frame-work that clearly identifies and reduces the gaps restraining the youth from participating in development activities
- to facilitate the youth to identify and make use of their potentials for their own development
- to create an environment which will enable the youth to implement their responsibilities depending on their respective needs to active development and fight against poverty to increase the political participation of young people based on peace and social justice.
Besides the need for education at school, young people with fewer opportunities in Kilimanjaro Region are in need of working opportunities and skills which allow them to improve their living conditions.
We want to establish centers in which we can train basic computer skills and an understanding of the internet. This will raise young people’s awareness for opportunities of studying, working and information exchange. Here you can get more information about this project.
